President Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the "Sokin Savdo Servis" poultry cluster in the Balykchi district of Andijan region during his trip to the area. The visit focused on the cluster's production capacities, export potential, and future plans.

Poultry meat plays an important role in the population's diet due to its dietary properties and affordable price. Therefore, Uzbekistan pays special attention to creating large poultry complexes, localizing production, and supplying the market with quality products. Founded in 2010, "Sokin Savdo Servis" today unites 5 poultry farms in Andijan region and 3 in Namangan region, with feed produced at a plant in Tashkent region.

The cluster has established a full production cycle, covering feed production, poultry rearing, slaughter, processing, packaging, and delivery of finished products to consumers. The total project cost is $29 million, and 417 jobs have been created. Currently, 1.5 million broiler chickens are being raised here. Production capacities allow for the annual rearing of 8.2 million broilers and the production of 20,600 tons of poultry meat. The complex can annually process 55,000 tons of chicken meat and semi-finished products according to Halal, HACCP, and ISO standards.

Since the beginning of this year, the cluster has been developing a breeding direction: from a flock of 25,000 laying hens, it is planned to obtain 7.6 million broiler chicks from 9 million eggs per year. By the end of 2027, the enterprise will launch a waste processing line and introduce a multi-tier cage system for poultry keeping, allocating $10 million for these purposes. In addition, it has been proposed to unite idle and struggling farms in the region into a single cooperation system, which will restore 350 to 400 jobs and additionally raise 1.7 million heads of poultry.
