In Tashkent, seven administrative buildings formerly belonging to ministries and agencies have been sold for a total of 868.8 billion sums. This was reported by Podrobno.uz.

The sold properties include buildings of the Ministry of Transport, the Ministry of Sports, the Ministry of Construction and Housing and Communal Services, the State Unitary Enterprise "Tourist Service Center" under the Tourism Committee, the Committee for Highways, the Committee for the Development of Sericulture and Wool Industry, and the Agency for Public Services. Another 11 properties have been put up for auction with a starting price of 1,095.8 billion sums, and pre-sale preparation is underway for 20 more. Auctions are currently ongoing for the buildings of the Agency for State Asset Management, the Ministry of Employment and Poverty Reduction, the Agency for Technical Regulation, the Ministry of Water Resources, and their subordinate organizations.

The sale of real estate is being carried out within the framework of the Cabinet of Ministers Resolution No. 146 dated March 7, 2025. The document provides for the relocation of 150 state bodies and organizations with state participation to the territory of New Tashkent, as well as the sale or lease at open auctions of 83 real estate properties in the capital. To date, the process has affected more than half of the planned properties: seven buildings have passed to new owners, and another 31 properties are at various stages of preparation and sale.
