According to Uzhydromet, this year October will begin with unstable weather. On the first day of the month, central and eastern regions of the country will continue to experience an influx of moist and relatively cool air, which is expected to start on the last day of September. On that day, rain is expected in some areas, with the most intense precipitation in foothill and mountain regions. In high mountain areas, rain may turn to snow.

On October 2-4, most of the country will see no precipitation, and air temperatures will begin to rise. On October 4, a cold and humid air mass will begin to enter the northwestern regions, and by October 5-7 it will gradually spread across the entire territory of Uzbekistan. It is noted that such "temperature swings" will continue until the end of October.

Against the backdrop of warm weather, nighttime temperatures will rise to +10…+13°C, and daytime temperatures to +25…+28°C. However, separate cold spells are also expected. During cold intrusions, temperatures may drop to +3…+8°C at night and +15…+20°C during the day. In the north of the country, cold spells will be more significant, with nighttime temperatures down to 0…-2°C and daytime temperatures +10…+15°C.

The temperature background in October is expected to be near or slightly above the climatic norm. Precipitation distribution across the territory and time is expected to be uneven. In the north, precipitation is expected to be below normal, while in central and southeastern regions it will be near normal. At the same time, in some districts of Tashkent, Samarkand, Jizzakh, Syrdarya, Kashkadarya, Surkhandarya regions and the Fergana Valley, precipitation may exceed the climatic norm.
