Residents across several neighborhoods in Tashkent's Sergeli district are facing a temporary interruption of natural gas supply on October 6. The municipal gas operator announced that the scheduled shutdown is necessary to conduct urgent infrastructure maintenance and technical repair operations. The restrictions are scheduled to remain in effect from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM local time.

The outage directly impacts residential quarters within five distinct neighborhoods: Madadkor, Uchuvchilar, Oltin Vodiy, Habibiy, and Ozgarish. According to utility figures, 51 multi-story apartment buildings have had their gas supply turned off during the work.

In addition to regular domestic households, the utility company reported that 12 major industrial and commercial consumers in the vicinity will also experience disruptions. Technicians are carrying out scheduled pipeline upkeep to ensure network integrity ahead of the winter season.

The regional distributor, Hududgaz Poytaxt, stated that normal supply will be restored gradually once maintenance is concluded. The agency apologized to affected residents and businesses for the inconvenience and urged consumers to follow basic safety protocols while appliances remain out of service.
