The National Agency for Social Protection has officially announced the launch of an investigation into an alleged sexual abuse case involving a minor. The distressing incident has drawn significant concern from social welfare organizations and law enforcement agencies alike.

According to preliminary findings, on August 28, 2025, an individual identified as Ch. B. entered into a religious marriage with a minor, N. M., and began living with her. Investigators reportedly found that the adult male subjected the minor to physical violence, committed acts of a sexual nature against her, and inflicted bodily injuries.

At present, internal affairs officers in the Almazar district are conducting a pre-investigation inquiry into the matter. Authorities are working to establish all facts surrounding the incident to ensure accountability under the law.

On October 5, representatives from the Almazar district «Inson» social services center, accompanied by local law enforcement officers, held a meeting with the minor N. M. and her aunt to assess her well-being and provide necessary immediate assistance.

Comprehensive measures are currently underway to protect the rights and legal interests of the minor, guarantee her personal safety, and stabilize her psychological condition following the trauma. Furthermore, to prevent potential future pressure or violence, authorities have officially issued a protection order to the victim.
