Further personnel changes have taken place within the cultural sector of Uzbekistan, affecting one of the country's prominent theatrical institutions. Honored Artist of Uzbekistan Fotih Jalolov has been officially appointed as the director of the Mukimiy State Academic Musical Theater.
The new head was introduced to the theater staff on October 7th. The order from the Minister of Culture was announced by First Deputy Minister Nodirbek Sayfullayev. The appointment is viewed as part of ongoing efforts to manage and restructure cultural institutions across the country.
Prior to this new leadership role, Fotih Jalolov served as the director of the International Festivals Directorate under the Ministry of Culture. In his new capacity, he is expected to oversee the theater's creative activities and address various developmental challenges within the troupe.
It is worth recalling that earlier in the summer, significant personnel shifts also occurred within the Ministry of Culture itself, including the replacement of multiple deputy ministers, highlighting continuous administrative adjustments in the sector.
