Sofia, Bulgaria – The Uzbekistan national team secured first place in the overall team standings for both men and women at the Strandja international boxing tournament, held from February 22 to March 1, winning 17 medals.

According to the National Olympic Committee, the men's team claimed 3 gold, 2 silver, and 4 bronze medals, while the women's team earned 4 gold, 2 silver, and 2 bronze medals. In total, Uzbek boxers collected 17 awards.

Gold medalists: Fazliddin Erkinboev (75 kg), Akmaljon Isroilov (85 kg), Turabek Habibullaev (90 kg), Sabina Bobokulova (48 kg), Nigina Okramova (57 kg), Navbahor Hamidova (65 kg), Aziza Zokirova (75 kg).

Silver medalists: Javokhir Ummataliev (80 kg), Ozodbek Aliev (+90 kg), Feruza Kazakova (51 kg), Oltinoy Sotimboyeva (+90 kg).

Bronze medalists: Asilbek Jalilov (50 kg), Shavkatjon Boltayev (70 kg), Norbek Abdullaev (85 kg), Samir Sobirov (90 kg), Farzona Fozilova (48 kg), Rukhshona Parpieva (80 kg).

Kazakhstan placed second in the overall team standings, with Ukraine in third. Last year, Uzbek boxers won 8 medals and finished second at the Strandja tournament.
