According to Uzbekistan's internal affairs authorities, in the early months of 2024, eight drug production laboratories were uncovered and dismantled across the country. Operations resulted in the seizure of over 140 kilograms of various narcotics, including methamphetamine and hashish. These actions were taken as part of the crackdown on drug trafficking.

The government continues to intensify efforts against the drug problem, leading to numerous successful operations in recent years. Officials plan to conduct awareness campaigns to warn citizens about drug risks and implement preventive measures.
