The beginning of the week is expected to bring intermittent rainfall across a significant portion of Uzbekistan, including the capital city of Tashkent. According to meteorological reports, these wet conditions could potentially trigger flash floods and mudflows in the mountainous and foothill regions of the country.
Uzhydromet sources indicate that daytime temperatures on Monday will drop to cooler ranges, generally hovering around +18 to +21 degrees Celsius. Meanwhile, the Republic of Karakalpakstan and the Khorezm region are reportedly remaining dry, with northern and southern areas experiencing slightly higher readings between +23 and +26 degrees.
Precipitation is claimed to persist through Tuesday and Wednesday in parts of Samarkand, Kashkadarya, Surkhandarya, and the Fergana Valley regions, while high-altitude zones might witness mixed rain and snow. Authorities have advised caution due to the localized risks associated with the damp conditions.
Looking ahead toward the middle of the week, specifically from October 14 to 16, weather conditions are projected to stabilize nationwide as precipitation ceases entirely. Daytime temperatures are expected to climb to between +22 and +25 degrees, while southern areas could allegedly reach peaks of +27 to +30 degrees Celsius.
