As part of the expansive New Tashkent development project, 100-hectare land plots are reportedly being assigned to all 13 regions of the country outside the capital. Additionally, similar plots have allegedly been attached to each district of Tashkent itself, pressing local authorities to ramp up commercial engagement.
According to official statements from the presidential press service, district governors are purportedly required to collaborate closely with domestic entrepreneurs to draw fresh projects into these designated zones. All investments funneled into these sectors will supposedly be credited directly to the economic metrics of the respective regions or capital districts.
Notably, the initial auctions for land parcels within these assigned areas will reportedly be restricted exclusively to business entities originating from those specific regions or districts. President Shavkat Mirziyoyev allegedly stressed that New Tashkent ought to serve as an inclusive platform of opportunities for business circles spanning the entire country.
Furthermore, a preliminary batch of 50 lots has supposedly been designated specifically for foreign investors. The country's diplomatic missions abroad have purportedly been instructed to promote these opportunities aggressively, ensuring that comprehensive financial packages complete with project layouts and calculations reach international partners without bureaucratic delays.
