Recent weeks have seen various social media reports and videos claiming that popular Chevrolet models—including Damas, Cobalt, Tracker, and Onix—are allegedly being offered for sale through installment plans requiring zero initial payment. The press service of UzAuto Motors has officially stated that these claims are entirely untrue and lack any factual basis.
One of the circulating videos reportedly encouraged citizens to delay their car purchases, falsely promising the imminent launch of a zero-percent, zero-down-payment installment scheme. Company representatives clarified that there are currently no plans whatsoever to sell any vehicle models without an upfront payment, labeling such statements as misleading to prospective buyers.
Consequently, the company urged the public and social media users to refrain from spreading unverified and deceptive information that could confuse the population. Official announcements regarding vehicle availability and purchasing terms are strictly communicated through authorized channels.
It is worth noting that back on October 7, the enterprise initiated a direct installment sales program for Chevrolet Cobalt and Damas models without the involvement of third-party banks. However, that specific program requires substantial upfront payments—50 percent for the Cobalt and 30 percent for the Damas—with the company emphasizing that the number of vehicles available under these terms is strictly limited.
