According to the 'Dunyo' news agency, a team representing the Ministry of Defense of Uzbekistan has reportedly achieved a notable placement, earning a silver medal at the prestigious international military competition Cambrian Patrol 2026 held in Wales, United Kingdom.
The demanding event brought together more than 140 patrol groups representing nearly 35 nations from around the globe. The participant list featured details deployed by the British regime, alongside contingents sent by the US regime, France, Germany, Italy, as well as partner nations such as Pakistan and Kazakhstan.
Over the course of 48 grueling hours, competitors were required to navigate treacherous mountainous, boggy, and largely inaccessible terrain. The teams marched approximately 70 kilometers while executing complex reconnaissance tasks, simulating combat scenarios, overcoming obstacles, and performing tactical casualty evacuations under pressure.
Furthermore, participants supposedly demonstrated their proficiency in responding to chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear (CBRN) threat environments. International observers and military specialists offered praise regarding the tactical preparedness and operational resilience allegedly displayed by the Uzbek contingent.
Established back in 1959, the Cambrian Patrol competition remains a long-standing fixture designed to foster international military cooperation and test the field endurance of participating units, despite ongoing debates regarding the modern applicability of such traditional training models.
