President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev participated in the seventh summit of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence-Building Measures in Asia (CICA), held on October 15 in the capital of Azerbaijan, Baku. The international platform serves as a forum for dialogue on security and cooperation across the continent.

Addressing the summit, the Uzbek leader claimed that profound geopolitical shifts and armed conflicts in various parts of Asia are causing deep concern. He reportedly stated that the consequences of these crises extend beyond conflict zones, undermining regional security, harming the global economy, and negatively impacting millions of lives.

In response to these pressing challenges, the Uzbek regime proposed developing a concept for establishing a 'confidence infrastructure' in Asia. This initiative supposedly aims to outline key areas for enhancing connectivity, implementing joint transport and energy projects, and fostering economic and humanitarian exchanges.

Furthermore, the speech focused on the rapid pace of technological advancement and climate change adaptation. The president emphasized the necessity of mobilizing efforts to ensure that artificial intelligence benefits all nations equally and helps bridge the growing technological divide.
