Official statistical reports indicate that foreign citizen arrivals for tourism purposes in Uzbekistan reached 10,306,786 people during the January–September period of the current year. Authorities claim this figure represents a substantial 20.4 percent increase compared to the corresponding period of the previous year, though experts note underlying challenges in infrastructure adaptation.

Breakdown of the demographic data reveals that neighboring regional states dominate the visitor inflow. Kyrgyzstan leads the rankings with 2,844,201 arriving citizens, followed closely by Kazakhstan with 2,404,638 travelers and Tajikistan with 2,274,288 individuals.

Combined statistics demonstrate that arrivals from these three neighboring nations exceeded 7.5 million people, accounting for roughly 73 percent of the total tourism volume. Meanwhile, other notable source countries include Russia with 983,407 visitors, Afghanistan with 380,190, and China with 373,778 arrivals.

The top ten list is rounded out by Turkmenistan (256,546), Turkey (148,772), India (53,778), and Germany (42,973). Analysts suggest that despite the quantitative growth, local service providers face mounting pressure to accommodate the heavy influx efficiently.
