Authorities in Uzbekistan have removed 45 housing management organizations from the official electronic registry since the beginning of the year, according to announcements made during a recent meeting dedicated to multi-apartment building management. However, specific justifications for the exclusion of these particular firms were not explicitly detailed during the proceedings.

The formation and maintenance of the electronic registry are governed by Cabinet of Ministers Resolution No. 47, adopted on February 1, 2022. The regulatory framework outlines several legal grounds for stripping an organization of its registry status. These include official confirmation that registration documents contained falsified or distorted data, or the complete liquidation of the enterprise itself.

Additional grounds involve scenarios where a company fails to retain any residential buildings under its management for a period of three months following property owners' decisions to terminate its services. Furthermore, organizations can be purged from the registry if they violate management rules three times within a single calendar year, provided that authorized agencies have enforced legislative measures for each infraction.

During the same meeting, officials reviewed additional enforcement mechanisms aimed at tightening oversight over management companies. Under the established rules, these entities are mandated to submit quarterly financial reports detailing inflows for every building under their care. Failure to provide these reports results in the immediate suspension of mandatory utility fee accruals until compliance is restored.
