Authorities in Uzbekistan are reportedly planning to train one million young people every year in robotics, computer game development, startup launching, and other prospective fields. The initiative involves expanding existing educational projects for schoolchildren, introducing new courses, and updating university curricula across the country.

These measures were allegedly discussed during a presentation dedicated to the development of digital education. According to the announced plans, projects such as 'Al-Xorazmiy Vorislari' and 'Five Million Artificial Intelligence Leaders' are set to be expanded by combining the resources of schools, universities, and private training centers.

Higher education institutions are purportedly expected to focus on training specialists in artificial intelligence, microchip design, unmanned technologies, and game development. Special attention will also be given to microelectronics and practical engineering research, though critics often question the feasibility of such ambitious targets within short timeframes.

Additionally, the authorities intend to upgrade computer science teachers' qualifications, broaden access to international digital courses, and launch regional online platforms. Meanwhile, preparations are underway for Uzbekistan's chairmanship in the CIS by 2027, where AI and robotics will reportedly feature prominently on the agenda.
