During the period from January to August 2026, Uzbekistan's total export volume reached 22.9 billion US dollars. According to official data released by the National Statistical Committee, the country continues to engage in active foreign economic activity, though a high concentration of shipments remains dependent on a select group of primary markets.
The reporting period highlighted the primary destinations for Uzbek exports. The Russian Federation claimed the top spot with 3.2 billion dollars, followed by China in second place with 2 billion dollars. Meanwhile, Afghanistan secured the third position with an export volume totaling 1.2 billion dollars.
Kazakhstan followed closely behind the top three, with exports to the neighboring country reaching 1 billion dollars. Shipments to France and China's special administrative region of Hong Kong both surpassed the 900 million dollar threshold. Statistics indicate that the top ten export markets collectively account for over 50 percent of the nation's total overseas shipments.
The comprehensive top-ten list also includes Turkey (695.8 million dollars), Kyrgyzstan (673 million dollars), the United Arab Emirates (617.4 million dollars), and Tajikistan (521.4 million dollars). Based on aggregated figures, exports to these ten destinations amounted to roughly 11.75 billion dollars, representing approximately 51.3 percent of the total export volume.
