Speaking on the sidelines of the 'Investing in Child Well-being' summit in Samarkand, Minister of Education and Science Erkinjon Turdimov addressed reporters regarding the pressing challenges facing the national educational system, outlining strategic priorities and approaches to institutional reform.

According to the minister's purported statements, the current system requires strict order and effective utilization of existing resources rather than the continuous adoption of new legislation. Turdimov allegedly emphasized that investments in education represent a vital contribution to the nation's future, while noting that societal progress depends heavily on public accountability and parental involvement. *

Addressing the expansion of private education, the minister stated that while private institutions help alleviate the burden on the state, they will not be left unregulated. State support will supposedly be strictly conditioned on adherence to rigorous educational standards and the presence of proper institutional infrastructure to guarantee quality outcomes.

Regarding regional personnel policies and potential leadership reshuffles, Turdimov argued that simply replacing officials will not resolve systemic issues. Decisions will purportedly rely on thorough analytical assessments of lower-level operations, with underperforming staff expected to face removal as the administration seeks measurable improvements across all tiers of governance.
