Widespread reports have emerged across social media platforms regarding an alleged massive data breach affecting users of several prominent digital services operating within Uzbekistan, including SafeRoad, inDrive, Lada Auto, KiwiTaxi, and Fargo. The situation has raised significant concerns regarding digital privacy and the security of sensitive consumer data.
Digital technology expert Shukhrat Kurbanov stated that upon investigating the circulating claims, he unexpectedly discovered his own personal records within the leaked databases. Kurbanov noted that while he initially assumed the compromised information would be limited to general details such as email addresses, a deeper review revealed far more intrusive content.
The compromised files reportedly contain highly sensitive data, including personal identification numbers, residential addresses, registered vehicle details, license plate numbers, as well as comprehensive driver's license and vehicle registration documents. Additional claims suggest that purchase histories, delivery orders, and even historical pharmacy transactions from years past may have been compromised.
Despite the alarming nature of these reports, it remains unverified whether the leaked datasets directly originate from the aforementioned platforms or what the ultimate scale of the security failure might be. Observers express hope that relevant cybersecurity entities have initiated investigations to track down the sources of the leak.
As of press time, no official confirmation, estimates of affected individuals, or formal statements have been issued by the targeted companies or regulatory authorities, leaving the public in a state of uncertainty regarding the integrity of their personal data.
