A fatal incident has occurred in the city of Fergana, where a 24-year-old man died after falling from the 15th floor of a multi-story residential building. The details of this tragic event were broadcasted by the 'Millar' program, citing Hayot Shamsutdinov, the press secretary of the General Prosecutor's Office.

The event took place on October 26 at approximately 18:30. According to official reports, the citizen, born in 2002, fell from the 15th floor of a high-rise building located on Tarona Street in the 'Shakarqishloq' neighborhood. Initial data and preliminary assessments suggest that the individual may have intentionally jumped.

Investigations revealed that the deceased had previously suffered from schizophrenia and had undergone treatment multiple times at the Fergana regional branch of the Republican Specialized Scientific and Practical Medical Center of Mental Health.

A forensic medical examination has been officially appointed regarding the case. At present, the Fergana city prosecutor's office is conducting pre-investigation checks aimed at determining all the circumstances and underlying causes of the tragedy.

It is worth recalling that a similar concerning incident occurred earlier in Tashkent, where a student of the Al-Beruni International Boarding School fell from the fourth floor of a dormitory and tragically passed away in the hospital 10 days later.
