A draft presidential decree concerning the approval of a long-term strategy for the integrated development of local passenger transport via rail, air, and road until 2030 has been posted on the portal for discussing normative-legal acts. The initiative aims to modernize the nation's logistics and transit infrastructure significantly.

According to the proposed document, the authorities plan to gradually construct railway links connecting railway stations and airports in major cities, bringing the total number of such integrated routes to three. Specifically, the strategy outlines the construction and electrification of rail lines between the Tashkent-North railway station and the New Tashkent Airport, the Urgench railway station and Urgench International Airport, as well as the Bukhara railway station and the New Bukhara Airport.

Furthermore, the strategy envisions the establishment of six major transport hubs across Tashkent, Samarkand, Bukhara, Urgench, Nukus, and Fergana. It is also planned to launch at least 20 new public transport routes connecting airports, railway stations, and bus terminals to improve overall commuter mobility and convenience.

Additionally, the document schedules the launch of the "Bir yo'l" (One Way) unified national digital transport platform starting January 1, 2028. This platform is intended to integrate railway, aviation, and bus services, introduce a unified electronic ticketing system, and enable passengers to plan their journeys seamlessly under a "door-to-door" principle.
