In an effort to enforce discipline within the public transportation network and address recurring compliance issues, authorities have implemented enhanced control measures across 12 designated bus routes in Tashkent. This initiative was officially announced by the Ministry of Transport, highlighting ongoing efforts to regulate transit operations.
According to the ministry's disclosures, the intensified monitoring specifically targets bus routes numbered 115, 134, 120, 56, 199, 198, 84, 190, 128, 71, 188, and 101. These particular routes have reportedly experienced higher instances of fare evasion and other administrative infractions.
Data covering the inspection raids conducted between October 23 and 27 indicates that a total of 2,603 administrative protocols were officially issued. Officials claim these rigorous inspections are necessary to ensure proper adherence to urban transport regulations, though the high number of violations points to persistent systemic challenges in public compliance.
A breakdown of the statistics reveals that the highest concentration of infractions occurred on route No. 190 with 331 protocols, followed by route No. 115 with 276 cases, and route No. 134 with 263 documented violations. Authorities have indicated that such targeted oversight operations will persist indefinitely.
