The national digital educational platform eMaktab, which allegedly unites over 10,900 schools across Uzbekistan, has launched an online payment service for tuition and supplementary school services. Connection to the system is reportedly provided free of charge for educational institutions.

Parents can now pay for education, meals, extracurricular activities, and other services using bank cards directly through the eMaktab website or mobile application. Users are also purportedly provided with payment status updates, deadline reminders, transaction history, and digital receipts.

According to statements from eMaktab CEO Alexander Potapkin, the development of a digital educational environment supposedly requires a comprehensive approach to automating administrative and financial tasks. The management claims that the new service will reduce the manual workload of schools and increase transparency in financial settlements.

During the initial phase, the service will reportedly be available only to private schools connected to the platform. Organizers claim they plan to gradually expand payment features and partner networks in the future.
