The initial stage of privatizing the aircraft refueling complex located in the Sergeli district of Tashkent has attracted preliminary interest from five prospective investors, according to official disclosures provided by the State Assets Management Agency.

The divestment process for the asset situated on Kumaryk Street was launched in September, with the international consulting firm Ernst & Young acting as the mandated privatization advisor. Throughout the marketing phase, the consultant reportedly distributed investment teasers to a targeted pool of domestic and international market participants.

By the established deadline of October 23, 2026, the advisor received five formal expressions of interest. Ernst & Young is now tasked with vetting these applications against a pre-determined set of criteria to ensure compliance with financial and legal standards.

The qualification screening encompasses checks on the sufficiency of the bidders' financial resources, adherence to anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing legislation, and the absence of any affiliations with entities on international sanction lists. Candidates meeting all requirements will be invited to proceed to the binding offers stage of the privatization procedure.
