In order to systematically improve the training of qualified personnel and rescue workers in the field of emergency response and civil protection, a specialized technical school is being established in Uzbekistan. This measure was formally endorsed under Cabinet of Ministers Resolution No. 611 dated November 6, 2026. According to the regulatory framework, the newly formed educational institution will operate with an independent legal entity status within the unified educational campus of the Academy of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

Key Takeaways: The newly established Rescue Training Technical School is scheduled to commence its academic operations starting from the 2027/2028 academic year, admitting high school graduates through state grants and tuition-fee contracts. Beginning in 2029, the institution's professional education graduates will form the core personnel reserve for emergency response bodies.

The educational curriculum encompasses introductory, secondary, and secondary-specialized vocational training programs designed to meet contemporary safety standards. Furthermore, short-term professional training courses will be organized based on the dynamic demands of domestic and international labor markets and employer requirements. Active rescue personnel employed at major industrial enterprises, categorized facilities, and hazardous production sites will be admitted on a privileged contractual basis upon corporate sponsorship.

The official decree notably protects the financial standing of incumbent emergency personnel currently serving within the ministry. Employees who enroll in the technical school will retain their full monthly salaries throughout the entire duration of their studies, ensuring uninterrupted financial support while upgrading their professional credentials.

To bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical field operations, the educational process will integrate advanced simulation, imitation, and virtual training polygons. The overall academic quality and compliance with state educational standards will be strictly monitored by the Emergency Situations Academy. The ministry has been officially mandated to approve the school's charter and complete state registration within two months, while jointly formulating curricula with the Agency for Professional Education over a three-month timeframe.
