️ Uzbekistan's Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov held a telephone conversation with his Azerbaijani counterpart, Jeyhun Bayramov. During the discussion, Saidov expressed serious concern over Iranian drone attacks on the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, highlighting regional security risks.

️ Bayramov provided detailed information about the attacks carried out by Iranian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). The assaults resulted in civilian casualties and damage to civilian infrastructure, underscoring the potential for escalating tensions in the area.

️ Saidov emphasized the unacceptability of actions that contravene international law principles and violate the sovereignty and territorial integrity of another state. He stated that Uzbekistan firmly condemns such incidents and supports efforts to maintain peace and stability.

️ Previously, Azerbaijan accused Iran of attacking civilian infrastructure objects in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic. According to the country's Foreign Ministry, on March 5, Iranian drones struck the terminal building of Nakhchivan International Airport, with another drone crashing near a school in the village of Shakarabad.

️ The Foreign Ministry reported that two civilians were injured in the incident and received medical assistance. This event raises concerns about heightened regional instability and its negative impact on peace processes, drawing attention from international observers.
