In Tashkent, repair work has commenced at the intersection of Temur Malik and Buyuk Ipak Yuli streets, leading to temporary traffic restrictions in the area. This has resulted in changes to the routes of several bus lines.
Specifically, Bus No. 49 heading to the "TTZ" bus station now travels via Sultoniy, Shortepa-2, and Shortepa streets. Route No. 128 has also been altered in both directions, passing through Durmon Yuli, Mirzo Ulugbek, and Temur Malik streets. Additionally, Bus No. 149 now operates via Mingbuloq, Sh. Burkhanov, and Mirzo Ulugbek streets to bypass the repair zone.
Due to the traffic changes and potential increased congestion on adjacent streets, waiting times for public transport may be longer than usual. Residents and visitors are advised to plan their trips in advance and account for these temporary disruptions.
It is recalled that earlier this morning, a serious damage occurred to the roadway of the overpass at the intersection of Temur Malik and Buyuk Ipak Yuli streets in Tashkent. The city mayor visited the site of the incident.
Later, Begzod Hazratqulov, General Director of O‘zog‘irsanoatloyiha JSC, reported that specialists found no defects in the structures of the overpass on Buyuk Ipak Yuli Street, which passes over Temur Malik Street. The bridge has been deemed safe for traffic, and it is planned to be reopened to vehicles in the near future.
The capital's khokimiyat clarified that additional inspection and restoration work is currently ongoing at the damaged support section.
