In the Jizzakh region, a power line support structure collapsed due to heavy rains and strong winds, resulting in the death of several heads of livestock. Specialists from the territorial branch of the company "Hududiy Elektr Tarmoqlari" and the district electricity supply department arrived at the scene to investigate the circumstances. Preliminary reports indicate that the accident was caused by prolonged precipitation and high winds, which damaged the power transmission line.
The company stated that the malfunction was promptly rectified, and electricity supply to the settlement has been fully restored. Additionally, scheduled modernization works are underway in the village, including the installation of new reinforced concrete supports and infrastructure upgrades.
The issue of compensation for the livestock deaths was addressed separately. The company emphasized that compensation for the loss of three heads of livestock is possible only through the legally established procedure—via damage assessment and court proceedings. The claimant was informed of their rights and the process for filing a lawsuit.
The company added that all disputes must be resolved within the framework of existing legislation. This incident highlights ongoing infrastructure challenges and the complexities citizens face in seeking redress, particularly in rural areas affected by natural disasters.
