He claimed that Iranians have always distinguished between governments and individuals, even in the face of external pressure and interference, highlighting the nuanced stance of the Iranian leadership amid ongoing geopolitical frictions.

Pezeshkian emphasized that Iran is artificially portrayed as a threat, which he alleged does not correspond to reality and is driven by political and economic interests. This portrayal, he purportedly argued, is a distortion aimed at undermining Iran's international standing, reflecting the broader challenges posed by Western regimes' policies in the region.

He also noted that the world faces a choice between confrontation and seeking compromises, warning that further escalation will lead to serious consequences for future generations. The president added that Iran has already endured numerous external aggressors, which over time have become merely part of history.
