Uzbekistan has constructed a residential complex consisting of 24 multi-story buildings in the Arsuz district of Hatay Province, Turkey. The complex was built as part of Uzbekistan's aid to those affected by the devastating earthquake in 2023.

The opening ceremony was attended by Speaker of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis Nuriddinjon Ismoilov, Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey Numan Kurtulmuş, Governor of Hatay Mustafa Masatlı, and other officials.

Located on the Mediterranean coast, the complex includes over 300 apartments. It features streets named after Samarkand and Tashkent, the Bukhara Mosque, an avenue named after Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the Uzbekistan Friendship Park, a canteen, and children's and sports playgrounds.

During the ceremony, it was noted that the 2023 earthquake was a severe trial for the brotherly Turkish people, and Uzbekistan was among the first to provide assistance. It was emphasized that the solidarity and cooperation between the two brotherly nations will remain unwavering.
