A friendly match between France and the United States, held at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, was officiated by an Uzbek referee team led by Ilgiz Tantashev.

The assistant referees were Andrey Sapenko and Timur Gaynullin. The only goal of the match came in the 70th minute from a penalty converted by Kylian Mbappé, securing a 1-0 victory for France.

This was the third match for the Uzbek referees at the 2026 World Cup. Previously, they officiated the group stage matches Scotland vs Morocco and Algeria vs Austria.
