According to him, a retaliatory missile and drone strike on Israeli territory is expected in the near future.

The Israel Defense Forces reported activated sirens and distributed notifications urging people to stay near shelters. Restrictions have been imposed: educational events are canceled, mass gatherings and office work are prohibited, except for strategically important sectors.

Iranian agencies Fars and Mehr reported explosions in Tehran. According to their information, several missiles fell in the area of University Street and Jomhuri Square in the central part of the city. No official information on consequences has been provided so far.

Previously, U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio urged American citizens to refrain from traveling to Iran and those there to consider leaving. The New York Times also reported that the U.S. Embassy in Jerusalem recommended staff to leave Israel amid the escalating situation.
