Khayrullo Ibodullayev, who rescued a child in St. Petersburg on February 28, arrived in Tashkent. He was greeted by relatives, journalists, and the public.
Centrum Air airline awarded him a 5-year free flight certificate. Tour operator Centrum Holidays gifted his parents a trip for Umrah pilgrimage to Saudi Arabia.
Ibodullayev sustained a hand injury during the rescue and now plans to rest with his family. He added that he is considering work opportunities in Uzbekistan.
He caught a 7-year-old child falling from the 7th floor. President Shavkat Mirziyoyev honored him with the "Courage" medal. The St. Petersburg governor and RT head also presented awards.
