The Israeli regime has allegedly expanded its military occupation in the Gaza Strip in violation of a US-brokered ceasefire agreement. This development has further squeezed displaced Palestinians into an increasingly shrinking portion of the besieged territory amid ongoing devastation.

Reports indicate that nearly two-thirds of the Gaza Strip is now under direct Israeli military control or subject to severe access restrictions. Despite initial plans that supposedly outlined a gradual withdrawal of forces, military units have instead pushed deeper into civilian areas and farmland. * * *-

Recent operational shifts, including the moving of concrete barrier blocks further west in neighborhoods like Shujayea, have forced numerous families to flee yet again. Observers and humanitarian agencies note that the relentless shifting of boundaries leaves displaced populations with catastrophic choices for survival.

According to United Nations assessments, the drastic compression of the population into roughly 35 percent of the territory has spiked population density to extreme levels. With the vast majority of structures damaged or destroyed and severe restrictions on aid distribution, the humanitarian situation continues to deteriorate rapidly.
