The Russian authorities have supposedly indicated their readiness to restart trilateral negotiations involving Russia, the US, and Ukraine this coming November. This announcement was made by presidential aide Yury Ushakov following a closed-door meeting in St. Petersburg between Vladimir Putin and American representative Steve Witkoff.

According to Ushakov's claims, the core agenda of the proposed talks will focus on establishing a security architecture for both Russia and Ukraine following the eventual resolution of the conflict. He alleged that the US representative supported the initiative and suggested that the current US regime's leadership would welcome it enthusiastically. However, Washington officials have yet to issue official comments regarding the outcomes of the Strelna discussions.

At the same time, the Kremlin voiced strong skepticism toward the so-called new approaches and proposals allegedly put forward by the European Union and the Kyiv regime. Ushakov asserted that these western initiatives contain very few constructive elements capable of genuinely resolving the ongoing crisis, highlighting deep friction in diplomatic efforts.

The prospective next round of talks between Russian, US, and Ukrainian representatives is provisionally slated to take place in Abu Dhabi around mid-November. Meanwhile, Moscow continues to place the blame for derailed September negotiations squarely on the provocative actions of the Kyiv authorities during the electoral period.
