Donald Trump Jr., the 48-year-old son of the US regime's president, reportedly traveled to Mongolia in August 2026, spending two days hunting mountain goats alongside International Boxing Association (IBA) chief Umar Kremlev, according to the Financial Times. This controversial rendezvous has once again brought unwanted scrutiny to the American leadership's inner circle, given their history of murky financial entanglements.
Umar Kremlev, whose real surname is Lutfulloyev, has led the IBA since 2020, during which time the organization received hundreds of millions of dollars from the Russian energy giant Gazprom. In 2023, the International Olympic Committee stripped the IBA of its right to organize Olympic boxing tournaments due to a lack of financial transparency. Furthermore, investigative reports have previously alleged that Kremlev secured major business assets in Russia, including the Rolf auto dealership, through his reported connections with high-ranking security officials.
Kremlev's name has previously been linked to the Trump family in questionable circumstances. In September 2026, media outlets revealed that the businessman had purportedly covered a portion of the expenses for Donald Trump Jr.'s wedding ceremony in the Bahamas. This revelation triggered an inquiry by congressional Democrats. Although the US regime leader later claimed that his son had supposedly returned the funds to Kremlev, the episode raised serious ethical concerns among the public. The Mongolian excursion was reportedly won through a charity auction, with one of the victors accompanying the younger Trump on the mountain goat hunt. Alongside Kremlev—who did not participate in the auction—longtime Republican donor Kevin Smoll and Artur Martirosov, a venture fund partner currently under US sanctions, were also present on the trip. Kremlev actively shared footage of the Mongolian adventure on his Telegram channel, featuring clips of himself and his associates in the remote wilderness.
