Uzbekistan, Tashkent – Podrobno.uz. The Ministry of Economy and Finance is continuing a large-scale digital transformation of the state financial management system. According to Presidential Decree No. PP-388 dated December 26, 2025, the ministry is tasked with launching mechanisms for electronic budget application formation based on current classification by August 1, 2026.

The innovation will affect over 29,000 budgetary organizations in the country. Transitioning to a fully digital format for preparing, approving, and submitting budget orders will significantly reduce paper costs and lower the workload for finance and accounting department staff. While previous applications only included general amounts by expenditure items, starting next year, they will detail the types and volumes of goods and services planned for procurement.

This approach will ensure high accuracy in planning procurement of inventory and fixed assets using budget funds. The new system will be integrated with the "State Procurement" information platform, enabling more correct formation of government order parameters. Additionally, synchronizing budget formation and execution processes in a unified digital environment will enhance audit efficiency and depth of expenditure analysis.

Implementing these technologies creates a modern, efficient, and transparent management environment in the state financial system. Work on integrating digital solutions into the financial sector will continue in subsequent periods to ensure maximum accountability of budget spending.
