The founder of Garden Catering Trade, a company that supplied food to kindergartens in Fergana where a mass child poisoning occurred, has changed. According to enterprise registry data, as of February 25, the founder is Muyidinjon Gofurov, whereas on February 23 it was Ikboljon Bozorov.

Recall that on February 21, 62 children from state kindergartens No. 2, 58, and 61 in Fergana were hospitalized with a diagnosis of "acute diarrhea." The children exhibited abdominal pain, diarrhea, fever, and nausea.

A criminal case has been initiated under Article 257¹ of the Criminal Code (Violation of sanitary legislation or epidemic control rules) regarding this incident.

It was later revealed that the Fergana regional hokimiyat selected Garden Catering Trade in violation of public procurement legislation. According to the Agency for Combating Corruption of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the agency's warning was ignored, and preference was given to the company.

Initially, "Garden Catering Trade" was established as a joint venture with equal shares held by Ikboljon Bozorov and Yildirim Adem. Later, the company lost its joint venture status, and until February 25, 100% of the shares belonged to Bozorov.
