The Embassy of Uzbekistan in Egypt organized the repatriation of the body of a 38-year-old female citizen. The woman died suddenly from a heart attack.
According to the "Dunyo" news agency citing the diplomatic mission, upon receiving the tragic news, diplomats contacted Egyptian authorities and promptly processed all necessary documents to send the body back to her homeland.
Embassy staff also provided comprehensive support to the deceased's relatives in Egypt, assisting with organizational matters including coordination with the airline and funeral services. In accordance with the family's wishes, the body will be buried in her homeland following national traditions.
Previously, the body of Durdona Hakimova, who died in Turkey, was brought to Uzbekistan. All expenses related to the repatriation were covered by the diplomatic mission and the Migration Agency.
