Uzbekistan President Shavkat Mirziyoyev inspected the construction progress of a modern residential complex in Surkhandarya region. The complex is being built on 50 hectares, with 68 apartment buildings already operational, housing 1,500 families.

The infrastructure includes a modern clinic, kindergarten, and School No. 66. The school is fully adapted for inclusive education, providing equal opportunities for children with disabilities.

At a local training center, over 2,000 young people annually study foreign languages and programming, with many having obtained IELTS B2 certificates and mastered in-demand IT fields.

For energy efficiency, the management company 'Yangi Yoshlar' installed solar panels with up to 15 kilowatts capacity on residential rooftops. The project's environmental aspect is enhanced by tree planting on 4.5 hectares and creating a protective belt of saxaul on 300 hectares of adjacent desert area.

During the visit, the head of state participated in the traditional spring festival sumalak-sayil, discussing reform outcomes with residents. The president emphasized that building such complexes directly serves the goal of providing people with decent and comfortable housing.
