Starting March 1, 2026, several new regulations will come into effect in Uzbekistan's legislation. The key changes include:

'Mehrli Oila' Service

The 'Mehrli Oila' (Kind Family) service will be organized at 'Inson' social service centers for parents of children in need of social protection. The service is managed by the Center for Child Support and Social Integration under the National Social Protection Agency. Parents will also receive free family therapy services.

Artificial Rain Pilot Project

A practical pilot project for artificial rain technology will be developed in Uzbekistan. Work begins on March 1, 2026. Experience from countries like France, China, and Saudi Arabia will be studied. The project includes 3–5 practical tests, aiming to increase precipitation by 10–20%.

New Powers for Notaries

Notaries will be authorized to issue enforcement documents for undisputed claims up to 1,000 times the base calculation value. Additionally, the maximum age for notaries will increase from 65 to 70 years.

New Civil Service Recruitment System

A new system for filling vacant civil service positions will be introduced. All vacancy information will be published on the electronic platform vacancy.gov.uz. Citizens can register on the platform and undergo test assessments for professional knowledge.

'Uzbekkosmos' to Monitor Construction Sites

The 'Uzbekkosmos' agency will conduct constant monitoring of construction sites in regions. Its databases will be integrated with those of the Construction Control Inspectorate.
