An earthquake was recorded in Kyrgyzstan on May 29. According to the Seismoprognostic Monitoring Center, the epicenter was located 387 km northeast of Tashkent at a depth of 10 km.
The earthquake had a magnitude of 4.8. Tremors were felt in the Andijan region of Uzbekistan. Experts urge the public not to panic.
Earlier, six earthquakes were recorded in the Bukhara region over three days. Seismologists continue to monitor seismic activity in the region.
