Preparations are reportedly underway in Tashkent to launch the first-ever multi-functional public services center (MFC) for Russian citizens outside of Russia, based at the local "Russian House" facility. The initiative aims to provide institutional support and bureaucratic access to Russian expatriates residing abroad.
The announcement was supposedly made by Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Grigorenko during the "Digital Solutions" forum. According to official statements, visitors to the center will be able to obtain individual insurance account numbers (SNILS) and electronic digital signatures. The project is being implemented as part of a joint experiment involving the Russian Foreign Ministry, Rossotrudnichestvo, and other state entities.
Organizers claim that a similar facility is scheduled to open in Kazakhstan in the coming months, with potential plans to extend certain services to foreign nationals in the future. Previously, it was reported that Uzbekistan had been included in a pilot program granting overseas Russian citizens remote access to domestic Russian digital governance platforms.
