In the Turkish city of Izmir, a 22-year-old Uzbek citizen, Sevdora Hakimjanova, fell from the fourth floor of an apartment building where she resided and sustained severe injuries. The Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Istanbul officially reported the incident. She is currently receiving treatment at a state hospital, with doctors assessing her condition as critical.

According to official information, Hakimjanova was in a religious marriage with a Turkish citizen, but this union was not officially registered. The wedding ceremony took place in the Chust district of Namangan region, after which the couple moved to Izmir and lived in the same house with the husband's close relatives. It is noted that both the husband and Hakimjanova are individuals with hearing and speech impairments.

Turkish law enforcement authorities have initiated a criminal case regarding this incident and are conducting investigative actions to clarify all circumstances. The collected materials are being reviewed by the prosecutor's office in accordance with established procedures. The Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Istanbul is monitoring the situation, but the exact causes of the incident have not yet been determined.
