According to Bobur Tulaganov, press secretary of the Main Internal Affairs Department of Tashkent region, the incident occurred around 1:00 a.m. on April 25 at the Kaplanbek checkpoint. A 37-year-old man allegedly hired a 33-year-old cargo carrier to move four bags across the post for 500,000 soums.

After completing the job, the carrier allegedly demanded an additional 100,000 soums, leading to a dispute. During the argument, he reportedly called himself a “person controlling the territory” and insulted the client.

Officers from the Tashkent district internal affairs department conducted an investigation. The individual who caused the scandal was charged under Article 183 of the Code of Administrative Responsibility (“Petty hooliganism”).

The court sentenced him to 10 days of administrative arrest.
