On the night of October 22, 2025, a 33-year-old man identified as D.K. entered a store on the Khamchik Pass carrying a rifle. He struck the female seller, Sh.N., on the head with the rifle butt, then climbed over the counter and beat her.

According to court documents, D.K. threatened to kill the woman, whom he knew previously, and caused bodily harm.

In court, D.K. partially admitted guilt, claiming he did not intend to kill. He stated that he wanted to start a family with her, sent money from Russia to buy a house, but later demanded it back. He said he took the rifle with two cartridges to shoot stray dogs and decided to stop by the store on the way. When the seller refused to listen, he hit her with the butt.

The victim Sh.N. confirmed that D.K. sent her money from Russia, but part was taken by his friend, and he gradually took back the rest. After that, quarrels began, and the man repeatedly threatened to shoot her with the rifle.

On April 1, 2026, the Akhangaran District Court found D.K. guilty under Part 1 of Article 112 (Threat of murder or use of violence) and Paragraph 'b' of Part 3 of Article 277 (Hooliganism) of the Criminal Code. He was sentenced to 4 years and 3 months of imprisonment in a penal colony.

Earlier reports indicated that a man with a rifle stormed a store on the Khamchik Pass and struck the seller. He was soon detained.
