New governors have been appointed in the Bagdad, Fergana, Beshariq districts and the city of Margilan in the Fergana region, the regional administration announced.
Khojikozijon Isaqov was appointed governor of Bagdad district. Previously, he headed the 426th inter-farm specialized mobile mechanized column LLC in the Fergana region.
Nodirjon Mashrapov was appointed governor of Fergana district. He previously served as head of the Fergana regional department of the Cadastre Agency.
Ilyos Novikov was appointed governor of Beshariq district. From 2018 to 2024, he served as governor of Kushtepa district.
Elbek Rustamov was appointed governor of the city of Margilan. Prior to this, he worked as deputy head of the main department of the Central Bank in the Fergana region.
Earlier, it was reported that Rasuljon Jorayev was appointed governor of Uzbekistan district.
