Queen Raja Zarith Sofia of Malaysia has arrived in Uzbekistan. The visit is part of her activities as the honorary chairperson of the Malaysia University of Technology.

The program for the distinguished guest combines scientific, educational, and cultural events. Queen Raja Zarith Sofia is expected to participate in the conference “Scientific Tradition in Islamic Civilization: Sources, Current Issues, and Potential,” which will be held at the Center for Islamic Civilization in Tashkent. During this event, the queen will deliver an official speech.

In addition to the capital, the queen will visit Samarkand, where a visit to the Imam al-Bukhari Memorial Complex is planned. This visit underscores the strengthening of cultural and educational ties between Uzbekistan and Malaysia.
