Tashkent, Uzbekistan – AN Podrobno.uz. Saidakbar Rakhmonkulov, head of the Laboratory of Physiology and Biochemistry of Cotton at the Research Institute of Cotton Breeding, Seed Production and Agrotechnology, has been awarded the ‘Mehnat Shukhrati’ order.

The corresponding decree was signed by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

The high state award was granted to the scientist on the occasion of his 90th birthday and for his many years of fruitful work in agriculture. The document highlights his significant contribution to the development of cotton farming based on innovations and modern scientific achievements, including research on creating new varieties, improving soil fertility, and obtaining high-quality harvests.

In addition to his scientific work, the award recognizes Rakhmonkulov’s efforts in training young and talented personnel. For many years, the scientist has been actively involved in educating the younger generation in the spirit of love for the motherland and dedication to their work.
