The birthday of People's Artist of Uzbekistan Murod Rajabov is recorded as May 30 in some sources and March 30 in others. He was born in 1949 in Tashkent.

In 1971, he graduated from the acting faculty of the Tashkent Theater and Art Institute named after Ostrovsky (now the Tashkent State Institute of Arts named after Mannon Uygur). He performed for a time at the "Young Guard" theater, now the Uzbek State Drama Theater.

Rajabov made his film debut in 1973 with a role in "Fiery Shore." He appeared in "Amazing Dreamer" (1977), "Blessed Weddings" (1978), "Fiery Roads" (1977−1984), "Coin Children" and "Iron Woman" (1990), "Iron Man" (1991), "Little Healer" (1998), and many other films.

Murod Rajabov passed away in 2023 at the age of 74. To mark the occasion, the newspaper prepared a quiz based on the films of the holder of the "For Selfless Service" order.
